Prevtec microbia wins a prestigious GENESIS award
Started by BIOQuebec in 2001, the Genesis Awards recognize entrepreneurship, innovation and technology transfer achieved by Québec companies and also honour preeminent individuals amongst the personalities who have played a key role in the growth of Quebec’s life sciences industry.Prevtec microbia received the 2008 Genesis Award in the category of Transfer - Emergence, at the 8th Genesis Gala held in Montreal on April 16, 2008 at the Biomedex convention and exhibition. The Transfer - Emergence Award is given to a company and its founding officers who have successfully implemented a technology transfer process.
Prevtec stood out by demonstrating the innovative nature of its Coliprotec vaccine, a technology derived from an academic research program, as well as its managerial, financial and scientific expertise.
